Windom Riverfest is a community-based, volunteer-planned event, held during the second full weekend of June. Our community festival includes the Miss Riverfest pageant, fireworks, family-friendly activities, food, beer gardens, sports events, dances, entertainment, craft show, grand parade, antique car show, turtle races, and much, much more. Fun for ALL ages!

In early 2022, the Windom Riverfest, Inc. made the decision to dissolve the board and transition Riverfest leadership to the Chamber of Commerce. With a newly formed committee, the Chamber is hard at work bringing together the best possible celebrations for future years. Here were a few favorite events from 2022

• Thursday night Fireworks at the school

• Friday night ARCH ALLIES concert at Island Park

• Saturday and Sunday food vendors

• Craft & Vendor Show Saturday on the Town Square & Sunday at Island Park

• Traditional downtown parade on Saturday evening

• Saturday night Judd Hoos concert, sponsored by the Lion's Club

• Sunday morning community worship service, sponsored by the Windom Ministerial

• Lucky Duck (rubber ducky) races at Island Park along the Des Moines River!
